Cobridge App — Get notified on availability of vaccination centre
If you are in the 18–44 years age group then you must have spent an inordinate amount of time tracking the CoWin or ArogyaSetu platform to book a vaccination slot but failed to make an appointment.
On 19 April 2021, the Central government of India has decided to allow everyone above 18 years to take the vaccine from 1st May 2021.
As expected, the Cowin portal and Aarogya Setu crashed on April 28th, considering a massive surge in traffic, as many people in the age group 18–45 started registering. Finding a slot on these portals seems to be challenging for many people. Simply there are no vaccine centres available nearby for booking for so many locations. Especially when checked for some NAC’s of Odisha, the portal says, “No vaccination centre is available for booking.”. Some can see vaccine centres available at faraway places from their residences.

As per Odisha’s vaccination strategy, the Naveen Patnaik government has decided that the vaccination for the 18–45 years age group in Odisha will first begin in five urban centres which have high Covid-19 test positivity rate (TPR),
- Bhubaneswar
- Cuttack
- Rourkela
- Sambalpur
- Berhampur
There is a lot of anxiousness among the citizens over the uncertainty of vaccine availability.
Considering this I have built a web app that will monitor the vaccination centre availability near you and will send email alerts as it gets become available.

How to use it?
- Click on the website.
- Enter your pin code along with the date you want to see the vaccine availability and submit, to check your nearest vaccination centre and slots availability.
- If no Vaccination centre is available for booking, subscribe to the Cobridge app by entering your mail-id.
- Done! You have successfully subscribed with Cobridge App.
How to get a Notification Alert?
- Once you enter your mail-id and Pincode, you have successfully subscribed with the Cobridge app. Once the vaccination centre for the 18–45 age group will be available in your area, you’ll get a notification in your mailbox.
- Depending on your pin code, you can change your pin code to get notified.
Important:
If you are not receiving the daily updates on your mail, it must be going to your “spam” folder. To make get it in your regular inbox, follow the following two steps,
Open your Gmail or respective Mail account. Click on “Spam” from the list of options on the left side of the page. Find the message by the mail:”shritam.engineering@gmail.com”. Click “Not Spam” at the top of the page. The message will be automatically moved to your regular in-box and the address will be removed from the list of senders sent to the spam folder.
